Job Summary

As an Accountant, you will primarily be involve in coordinating accounting activities between Colorado River Storage Project Region (CRSP) and it partners (i.e. U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Rocky Mountain Region, Desert Southwest Region, Western Area Power Administration Headquarters). Additionally, requires cross-functional coordination with other CRSP areas such as Rates, Contracts, Operations, and Environment to ensure accurate and transparent accounting information.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will: Initiate, review, and validate financial work outputs affecting project accounts, including project creation, adjustments, and year-end transactions.

Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and customer audits regarding financial and accounting records, directly resolving audit findings, management letters, and internal control issues Analyze capital investment financial data, evaluate expense-to-budget trends on assets, and assist management in determining asset replacement schedules and identifying funding sources

Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications. Foreign education must be reviewed by an organization recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
