Key Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is: To serve as the command level senior technical expert and focal point for the execution of nuclear air operations. Applying Air Force military rated aviator experience, plans, directs, organizes and determines necessary policies, regulations, directives, instructions, programs, projects, doctrine, methods and procedures of Air Mobility Command nuclear enterprise forces.
Duties Serves as senior command nuclear air transportation expert at HQ AMC. Performs substantial, extensive, in-depth analysis of AFTRANS nuclear execution force operational problems, methods, procedures and techniques and the potential impact on strategic air assets. Represents HQ AMC/A3/10NTwith a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Uses expert knowledge of Air Force military aircrew, unit and HHQ to draft, analyze, develop, and evaluate detailed plans, planning factors, tasks, and objectives for long-range implementation of assigned plans and operational concepts.
