The U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Hampshire is seeking highly motivated attorneys interested in a rewarding and challenging career in public service as Assistant United States Attorneys.

The Civil Division represents the United States, its agencies, and federal employees in a broad range of civil litigation and affirmative enforcement matters. Civil Division attorneys manage all phases of litigation, including case assessment, discovery, motion practice, alternative dispute resolution, hearings, trials, and appeals. The U.S.
Attorney's Office is currently seeking a term appointment to the Civil Division with a specialty and particular focus in immigration enforcement. This temporary appointment is through September 30, 2029, and may be extended or made permanent without further competition. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
Residency Requirements: Assistant United States Attorneys generally must reside in the district to which he or she is appointed or within 25 miles thereof. See 28 U.S.C. 545 for district-specific information.
