Job Summary

This position is located in the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), Detroit Division. This position(s) primary purpose is to support and assist an assigned DEA Domestic Field Division's community outreach and prevention support activities, including program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of community events.

Key Responsibilities

As a COMMUNITY OUTREACH SPECIALIST, your typical work assignments may include: Providing advice and guidance about community outreach and prevention programs to the Division's management and staff. Managing the Division's DEA Citizens Academy program. Developing budget requirements for the Divisions community outreach and prevention program.

Submitting monthly reports of community outreach and prevention activities' process and outcome metrics to the Division's management and DEA Headquarters' elements. Writing speeches for community outreach events.
