Job Summary
This position is located in the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), Veterans Employment and Training Administration. All qualified applicants are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities
Leads the VETS National Programs portfolio formulation, development and evaluation of strategic long-term vision. Represents VETS on matters concerning the VETS National Programs portfolio development, interpretation, and implementation. Represents VETS on National Programs portfolio related matters with other Federal agencies at the national level, program partners at all levels, the private sector, and the public.
Directs the development and implementation of national policies, procedures, and standards for Transition Assistance Program (TAP), Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Veteran's Preference (VP) and other programs to ensure effective and uniform service delivery nationwide. Serves as an advisor on all matters related to service member transition and employment rights.
