Job Summary
This position is located at Departmental Offices,Treasury Common Services Center, Office of the Deputy Administrator for Operational Services. As a Director Travel Services, you will be advising the Assistant Secretary for Management (ASM), TCSC Administrator, and TCSC Deputy Administrator for Operational Services on Federal travel regulations, policies, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As a Director Travel Services, you will: Plan, direct, and oversee the overall execution of Travel Services. Supervise travel staff, provide daily guidance, address developmental needs, and performs other duties as assigned.
Administer travel programs; oversee long-range plans, goals, and objectives for the work directed; manage organizational changes throughout Travel Services; coordinate and integrate a number of important projects and/or segments throughout Treasury; and perform long-range planning in conjunction with prospective changes in Travel functions and programs.
Provide expert advice and guidance on complex travel policies/issues; establish and maintain internal control procedures; prepare and submit report requirements related to the travel or relocation programs; manage related systems, programs, and contracts and ensures all travel-related receipts and expenditures are processed, certified, recorded, and reported accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with governing regulations on behalf of customers.
