Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level. Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Provides electrical construction oversight and quality assurance to ensure contractor compliance with approved plans, specifications, and contract requirements. Performs field inspections of electrical systems and equipment; identifies deficiencies and coordinates corrective actions.
Serves as COR or Alternate COR, reviewing submittals, RFIs, payment requests, and technical correspondence. Reviews electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and proposed changes; resolves construction-phase technical issues. Coordinates with project managers, contracting staff, inspectors, engineers, and contractors; prepares technical documentation and reports.
This position has a mandatory education requirement. Transcripts must include the name of the college or university and date the degree was conferred. Non-submission will result in being rated not-qualified for the position. This vacancy announcement allows substituting education for experience at the GS-11 grade level.
