This position is located in Response & Recovery, Response Directorate, National Watch Center. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience developing situation reports intended to support senior executive decisions & be comfortable working in a highly visible position within a high-paced and highly dynamic 24/7/365 Watch Center.
They should have demonstrated experience in an operations, watch, or command center environment managing all-hazards, multi-source information collection.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as an Emergency Management Specialist. Typical assignments include: Communicating with internal and external partners. Preparing and writing input for daily briefings and reports. Developing long-range plans for new or complex programs based on directions from the Senior Watch Analyst or Watch Officer. Providing research analysis and advise on complex program issues. What else do I need to know?
