This position is located in Urban Search and Rescue Branch in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate for this position will have comprehensive knowledge and skill in the application of concepts, principles, procedures and administrative practices of the National US&R program to to include training and exercise development, conduct and execution.
What will I do in this position if hired? In this position, you will serve as an Emergency Management Specialist. Typical assignments include: Develops and manages National US&R program plans, policies, readiness and operational procedures. Provides management and support to to National US&R resources when deployed in the field. Serves on inter-agency and intra-agency committees and task forces coordinating procedures pertinent to US&R.
