The primary purpose of this position is to design, manage and/or implement one or more environmental programs for assigned Air National Guard (ANG) organization(s) and to serve as a professional advisor on all aspects of the assigned environmental areas. As a senior environmental engineering consultant, the employee provides technical and policy expertise regarding one or more environmental protection programs for the Air National Guard nationwide. Serves as a lead environmental coordinator for the Air National Guard. Responsible for technical oversight of all engineering functions and activities within the Environmental Restoration and/or Compliance which impact ANG installations nationwide.
Leads teams, working groups and/or lower graded individuals of cross functional disciplines engaged in developing and recommending proposals and implementation plans. Represents the organization at executive levels within the Government and to contractor/ industry representatives.
