The incumbent will be the Executive Director, Revenue Operations, who serves as the principal advisor to the Office of Health, Chief Financial Officer as well as other key officials within the Department of Veterans Affairs on matters pertaining to the oversight of activities associated with revenue cycle operations, member services, including health benefits administration, and purchased care programs.
Oversees and monitors the claims process from end-to-end, cross boundary dependencies, and down-stream effects. Establishes policy and procedures to assure cost effective compliance to claims management services standards and client service requirements. Ensures issues raised by patients and/or their representatives are adequately addressed. Manages reimbursable support agreements for healthcare organizations.
Monitors management reports related to the claims performance process. Serves as a single point of contact across the organization to address any claims operational issues.
