Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM), Operational Support Facilities, Field Operations Facilities, Program Management Section in the following locations: Aliso Viejo, CA Indianapolis, IN Washington, DC Euless, TX Additional selections may be made for other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

Learn more about CBP's mission, core values and careers at https://www.cbp.gov/about This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), Office of Facilities and Asset Management (OFAM), Operational Support Facilities Division (OSF).

OSF is responsible for overseeing the planning, construction, maintenance, repairs, operations, and sustainment of OFAM's facilities pertaining to the Office of Air and Marine, the United States Border Patrol, and the Office of Field Operations to enable the CBP and DHS missions of protecting America and its citizens while facilitating legitimate trade and travel. This position starts at a salary of $115,711.00 (GS-13, Step 1) to $150,426.00 (GS-13, Step 10).

As a Program Manager, your typical duties may include the following: Developing project requirement documents, cost estimates, risk registers, and preparing purchase requirement requests. Coordinating and communicating with internal and external partners such as the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), General Services Administration (GSA), or CBP Procurement to help execute high priority projects and contracts.

Reviewing multi-year work plans developed by subordinate organizational units and subsequently coordinating the overall work. Serving as a Contracting Officer's Representative for projects where responsibilities include assisting with the development of statements of work, performing independent government cost estimates, reviewing contractor schedules and work plans, performing quality control on contractor work, and reviewing and processing contractor invoices.
