The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a financial administration specialist for the 80th Flying Training Wing and the Wing's execution of Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training (ENJJPT) Program performing financial administration functions involving auditing financial processes and the formulation, justification, and/or execution of budget/cost analysis.
Determines and processes appropriate reimbursements from ENJJPT partners earned by the Wing in accordance with applicable guidelines.
Performs budget formulation work involving review and preparation of budget estimates and financial plans. Reviews and analyzes budget requests submitted by organizational activities to ensure their consistency, accuracy, and adherence to instructions. Receives, reviews, and classifies complex transactions where guidelines lack specificity to requirements, circumstances, or problems and/or frequently change.
Analyzes, determines and processes all reimbursement transactions earned by the Wing associated with the ENJJPT Program. Serves as the functional point of contact for day-to-day budget/financial issues. Works with budget office counterparts to obtain, monitor, and track organization's funds. Maintains, reconciles, and closes accounts involving a variety of transactions.
Resolves complex problems encountered in maintaining, reconciling, and closing accounts where guidelines are not completely applicable to the work. Additional significant duties may include Civilian Personnel Liaison, Civilian Timekeeper and Wing Refueling Documents Control Officer (WRDCO). Accomplishes additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
