Job Summary
About the Position: This position is located in the Engineering Department of Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay (JTF-GTMO) Cuba. Guantanamo Bay is an accompanied tour position. The initial length of this overseas tour is 2 years and may be extended up to 5 years. Separation Maintenance Allowance is not authorized, except in special circumstances when for extenuating reason, family cannot be on the island.
Consideration will also be given to current Army employees with personal competitive status.
Key Responsibilities
Provide oversight of all military construction and construction related activities of which the Joint Task Force (JTF) has responsibility.
Requirements & Education
FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
