This HELICOPTER FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR position, is located at unit level in the Air Operations program at selected Aerospace Rescue and Recovery Group flying units in the Air National Guard (ANG) and is part of the CA 129 RQW.
THIS IS A T32 EXCEPTED SERVICE, PERMANENT POSITION The primary purpose of the HELICOPTER FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR, GS-2181-13, is to provide ground and flight instruction to upgrade pilot skills to obtain maximum performance on the unit-equipped (UE) helicopter. In addition to training responsibilities, flight instructors perform assignments related to the operational readiness of their unit and administrative tasks in support of the Air Operations program.
May make additional selections within 90 days of eligible(s) issuance.
Must have a Federal Aviation Administration certification awarded from an accredited civilian aviation program or have a aviation certification from an accredited military aviation school. Must provide Flight Records. Failure to provide will result in automatic disqualification.
