The primary purpose of this position is: Serves as the lead technical authority for COMSEC and Information Assurance programs, managing cryptographic accounts, driving Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance, and defending DoW networks against cyber threats.
COMSEC & KMI Program Lead: Performs duties as the principal advisor for the 55th Wing Chief Information Officer (CIO) regarding cryptographic risk posture, key management capabilities and secure enclave integration.
Information Assurance & Cybersecurity Defense Program Lead: Serves as the Offutt AFB Information Assurance Manager, supporting three wings with distinct missions Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the 55th Wing Cybersecurity Office meeting customer needs and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Project & Resource Management: Formulates long-term IT security strategies to align IA services with DoW mission requirements. Manages resource allocation, capacity studies and the deployment of security upgrades.
Represents the 55th Communications Squadron (Wing Cybersecurity Office) at a variety of installation and functional area organizations: Establishes, develops, and maintains effective working relationships with 55th Wing, 95th Wing, 557 Weather Wing and United States Strategic Command.
