The primary purpose of this position is to provide a variety of specialized technical and investigative work to support both the Commanders Inspection Program (CCIP), Exercise Program and the Complaints Resolution Program (CRP) to include the Inspection/Exercise Program, Complaints, Review, Oversight functions, and Fraud Waste and Abuse (FWA) allegations within the Wing/Center Inspector General office.
1. Plans, organizes, and executes a wide range of complex activities for the center Commander's Inspection Program (CCIP), and the Exercise and Evaluation Program. 2. Develops and integrates Center inspection planning activities. 3. Manages the integration of multi-disciplinary resources necessary to support center-wide tasks and projects. 4. Represents the IG with a variety of center, functional area, and federal organizations. 5.
Performs thorough analysis of unit capabilities versus inspection requirements to determine the most efficient exercise and inspection scenarios which minimize costs and maximize unit readiness.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
