This position is located in the Bureau of Diplomatic Security, Office of Investigations, Criminal Investigations Division, Consular Integrity Division (DS/INV/CR/CID). The DS/CID section provides policy guidance and conducts visa/passport criminal investigations and law enforcement liaison.
It serves as DS liaison to Consular Affairs and manages the Consular Integrity program, a joint CA-DS partnership addressing consular malfeasance across worldwide operations, systems, and agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Plans and conducts investigative analyses focused on consular malfeasance, both domestically and at Posts abroad, to assess malfeasance vulnerabilities, including trends, patterns, anomalies, and correlators.
