The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the Unit Support Branch Program Manager providing unit outreach, unit readiness, fields unit requirements and data calls, develops policy, manages mission essential tasks, validates unit type codes for the Air Force Generation Model/Expeditionary Air Base construct, and directs processes for Agile Combat Employment exquisite capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of AFGSC/A2 support to global bomber operations. DUTY 2: Participates in unit readiness with respect for long range bomber operations. DUTY 3: Represents MAJCOM Unit Support Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
DUTY 4: Exercises management in special studies and projects related to Intelligence Oversight, unit-level intelligence for the command, disseminates AFGSC/A2 policies, manages AFGSC Intelligence Staff Assistance Visit (SAV) Program. DUTY 5: Serves as a functional expert on ISR issues. Makes recommendations on operational matters used to initiate management actions to revise policy to commit Agency funds or resources.
