Job Summary

Organizational Location: This position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, U.S. Border Patrol, Swanton Sector, Sector Intelligence Unit, located in Swanton, VT. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.

Learn more about CBP's mission, core values and careers at https://www.cbp.gov/about In this position, you will have the opportunity to directly manage and analyze complex digital document and media exploitation (DOMEX) program data and report and present information to support criminal and administrative proceedings, complex conspiracy investigations, and USBP operations. This position starts at a salary of $91,335.00 (GS-12, Step 1) to $118,738.00 (GS-12, Step 10).

As an Investigative Analyst (DOMEX), your duties will include: Analyzing large amounts of intricate data from multiple digital media sources Maintaining charts, graphs, and documents that summarizes program outputs and outcomes Formulating digital document and media exploitation (DOMEX) related data gathering and application techniques Compiling, reviewing, and interpreting digital document and media exploitation (DOMEX) program data to identify and resolve data discrepancies and issues Briefing executives, managers, and leadership in digital document and media exploitation (DOMEX) program activities GS Salary: Visit this link to view the locality pay tables by geographic area.
