Job Summary

This position is part of the Interior Business Center (IBC), Acquisitions Services Division (AQD), AQD Business Operations Division. The incumbent will be responsible for providing advice, oversight, and guidance regarding IBC AQD's funds and financial management operations.

Key Responsibilities

Critically analyzes the AQD financial projections, identifies requirements shortfalls, and recommends creative solutions such as system improvements, creation of new financial tools, and strategies to increase efficiencies. Analyzes and interprets budgetary policies and guidance from higher headquarters to plan, formulate, justify and execute the budgets and programs affecting the financing and accomplishment of AQD mission objectives.

Conducts long range planning considering financial scenarios and the potential for resource, funding, and/or program changes. Provides technical expertise in a financial system for monitoring and reporting financial operations and provides meaningful financial data to AQD Leadership, personnel, and customers. As team leader for financial operations, provides guidance, assistance, and oversight of work performed by team members.

Instills flexibility and adaptability to change in team members based on fluctuations in workload and/or assignments.
