This position is aligned under the Veterans Health Administration Office of Finance, and is physically located in Middleton, Wisconsin North Central CPAC, in the Billing department - OR - Orlando, Florida at the Florida-Caribbean CPAC, in the Insurance Verification department.
The Lead Medical Reimbursement Technician performs a broad range of duties to achieve the established Central Office VISN expected results for medical billing, and reimbursable and non-reimbursable collections.
Key Responsibilities
Keep in touch with status and progress or work and make day-to-day adjustments. Estimate and report on expected time of completion of work. Instruct employees in specific tasks and job techniques. Give on the job training. Distribute and balance the workload among employees In accordance with established workflow or job specialization, assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload. Work Schedule: 8:00am - 4:30pm Telework: This position is considered onsite.
