This management analyst position is located in the Research, Activation, and Corporate Support (RACS) Division, Federal Prisons Industries, Inc. (UNICOR), Washington, D.C. Provides the Chief, Administrative Officer with assistance in meeting the Division's overall responsibility for development and analysis of plans, policies, programs, position accountability, and budgets to insure optimum utilization of employee, financial, and material resources.
Performs a wide variety of analytical research into historical records and documents of the corporation to make recommendations concerning financial or personnel operating procedures with relationship to past decision precedent and expected revised operating guidelines. Develop staffing activation schedules for new industrial operations. This includes preparation of personnel actions, staff reporting dates, and presentations.
Plans, develops, and coordinates various meetings and special projects which are designed to improve the operations and decision making processes of FPI and BOP.
