The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a project manager in charge of managing specific projects within the squadron's portfolio and production plan, ensuring effective prioritization, resource allocation, and project execution to deliver mission-critical capabilities and improvements.
Provides project management and execution for strategic deliverables . Serves as a Project Manager responsible for assigned projects within the squadron's analytical roadmap, guiding them through all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure. Provides cross-functional communication and production synchronization.
Facilitates and enhances cross-functional communication to synchronize production and scheduling across various teams and with other project managers, maximizing efficiency and collaboration. Monitors project resources. Serves as a project-level resource manager, meticulously tracking and monitoring project resources, contracting expenses, and other expenditures over the lifecycle of assigned projects. Communicate with stakeholders and conducts risk management and analysis.
Proactively identifies and evaluates potential risks that could impact project success, developing comprehensive mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: This position is a Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel Systems (DCIPS) position implemented under Section 504, Title V of Public Law 99-569, Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1987, as codified in Sec 1601, Chap 83 of Title 10 United States Code which sets forth Air Force policies and procedures for DCIPS. This position is in the Excepted Service.
