Job Summary

This position is within Governance and Internal Controls, Compliance and Governance, Compliance, Audit, and Risk, Executive Office, Bonneville Power Administration. Transform how we manage risk! Standing at the intersection of technology, data, and organizational strategy, our team ensures the agency operates with integrity, efficiency, and agility.

As a Senior Management and Program Analyst within Governance and Internal Controls (Executive Office), you will serve as the principal technical authority driving the modernization of our enterprise-wide compliance and risk management systems. In this high-visibility role, you will bridge the gap between executive leadership, business operations, and IT teams-transforming complex data into strategic insights and modernizing the digital tools that safeguard BPA's mission.

Key Responsibilities Shape Enterprise System Strategy: Direct the vision for enterprise compliance software initiatives, establishing strategic frameworks that prioritize high-impact technology projects and align system capabilities with agency goals. Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Guide multidisciplinary groups of business leaders, program experts, IT specialists, and software vendors to design, develop, and implement modern governance and risk management solutions.

Architect Scalable & Secure Solutions: Oversee software architecture decisions to guarantee that enterprise system infrastructure is built for future expansion, robust cybersecurity, and advanced data reporting. Solve Unprecedented Technical Challenges: Diagnose complex system bottlenecks, evaluate alternative technical strategies, and engineer creative solutions to resolve intricate, organization-wide process issues.

Transform Data into Strategic Insights: Harness advanced analytics and design intuitive data visualizations to track performance trends, measure operational effectiveness, and empower leadership to make data-informed decisions. Champion Continuous Process Improvement: Drive organization-wide standardization by modernizing workflows, refining operating standards, and streamlining internal decision-making tools.

Guarantee Flawless System Deployments: Orchestrate end-to-end user testing and release planning, proactively monitoring software dependencies to prevent operational disruptions and ensure seamless software updates. Serve as the Primary Technical Authority: Act as the final approval authority for system releases in live environments and serve as the main technical liaison between executive leadership, IT teams, and external software vendors.
