Job Summary
This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), Office of the Assistant Chief Information Officer - Satellites (ACIO-S), with one vacancy in the listed locations. Key Responsibilities
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will perform the following duties: Provide program management of contract and procurement activities. Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of program operations. Identify and implement opportunities to streamline processes and procedures. Advise on complex program issues with mission impact. Advise management on program and operations effectiveness. Lead cross-organizational communication related to project and initiatives.
Manage and communicate project requirements. Ensure that the products delivered are fully understood by the other organizations whose activities are interdependent on these deliverables. Provide reports on budget, actual costs, and performance metrics to external organizations as required. Independently address minor project issues. Project the potential effects of actions on viability and attainment of program objectives.
Advise management with recommendations on various methods and procedures to meet project goals.
