This position is located within the Office of Primary Care at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center. The position serves as a Management and Program Analyst responsible for performing comprehensive analytical, evaluative, and technical work to improve program operations, workload integrity, access management, scheduling efficiency, and compliance with VA/VHA requirements.
Duties include but not limited to: Serve as PCMM Coordinator: maintain provider/team profiles, panel sizes, resolve transmission errors, correct patient assignments, and produce capacity/paneling/wait-time reports. Execute mass patient reassignments in PCMM during staffing or clinic changes to maintain continuity of care.
Build/maintain clinic profiles (stop codes, encounter forms, appointment parameters, access rights, letters; advanced clinical access) and align with MCCR/HIMS guidance. Maintain Primary Care SharePoint sites for transparent data/info publishing and version control. Provide/coordinate training on clinical information systems (VistA/CPRS, scheduling, reporting tools) and related procedures.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday; 7:30am-4:00pm; Subject to change based on the needs of the facility. Telework: This position may be authorized for telework. Telework eligibility will be discussed during the interview process. Virtual: This is not a virtual position.
