The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of West Virginia is looking for a video editor and creator to support the district's mission of representing the interests of the United States in litigation and community affairs. This new position will create powerful content across video, social media and emerging platforms building the digital influence of the district.
If selected for this position, you will be responsible for: generating, developing, producing and editing multimedia content for social media and digital communications. assisting in planning and producing audiovisual projects to support the districts training, outreach and communication objectives. employee shoots photo and short video presentations at office events, programs. assisting in compiling visual content for use in marketing or communication products.
operating digital video cameras, audio recording equipment, lighting systems, teleprompters, and related production equipment. capturing video and audio using agency-approved software to produce finished products that meet established quality standards. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress.
All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at a college or university that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
