This position is located in one of the two Public Health Service hospitals in the Bemidji Area, Indian Health Services, and the bed capacity of which is 17. Inpatient services provided include medical, surgical, newborn, and pediatric. Emergencies are treated on a 24-hour basis and there are regularly scheduled clinics in the Outpatient Department, whose patient load averages 3600 visits monthly. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R.
37.5 (2021).
Prepares a Clinical Educational Plan that incorporates the educational needs of clinical employees that relates to the provision of safe and therapeutic health care. Initiates, participates or assists staff in healthcare studies designed to improve patient care Modifies, revises and/or designs new education offerings and curricula to improve the educational plan and meet training needs more effectively.
