You will serve as a PHYSICAL SCIENCE TECHNICIAN in the RADIATION HEALTH DIVISION, RADIOLOGICAL CONTROL OFFICE of PORTSMOUTH NAVAL SHIPYARD.
You will Perform liaison functions within and outside the shipyard (e.g., Shipyard management and Naval Dosimetry Center).
Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it includes courses directly related to the work of the position: GS-08: Successful completion of one and one-half years (27 semester hours) of directly-related graduate-level education leading to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
GS-07: Successful completion of one full year (18 semester hours) of directly-related graduate-level education leading to a Master's degree from an accredited college or university. NOTE: If you are claiming substitution of education for experience, you must submit a copy of your transcripts at the time of application. Failure to upload the transcripts will result in an ineligible rating.
COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Equivalent combinations of graduate-level education and experience may be used to meet the total qualification requirements. If you are using education to meet all or part of the qualification requirements, you must submit a copy of your transcripts or an itemized list of college courses which includes equivalent information from the transcript (course title, semester/quarter hours, and grade/degree earned).

The posted pay range is $64228 – $92465/yr.
