The selectee of this position serves as a Prisoner Transportation Coordinator responsible for scheduling and transporting pre-trial and sentenced prisoners and criminals, and non-criminal aliens through the United States and territories, and to and from foreign countries. This position is located in the U.S. Marshalls Service (USMS), JPATS Division / Kansas City, Missouri.
As a Prisoner Transportation Coordinator at the GS-2101-9 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following: Analyzing prisoner transportation movement requests. Planning the method and mode of transportation used for secure transportation of prisoners. Creating and updating passenger manifests. Tracking air and ground movements from departure thru arrival.

Academic degrees must be granted from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. To determine if a school or program is accredited, refer to the Database of Accredited Postsecondary Institutions and Programs.
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
