Job Summary
Incumbent will serve as the Director of the Office of Grants Management and Guidance and is responsible for the management of the Division of Grant Systems and the Division of Grant Guidance. Major functions include the management, maintenance, and implementation of FTA's electronic grant management system, calculation of FTA's annual formula apportionments, and the implementation of FTA's grant guidance and management procedures.
Key Responsibilities
As a Supervisory Transportation Program Specialist (Director of the Office of Grants Management and Guidance), you will: Managerially lead for two divisions and a team of approximately 15 staff. Manage and oversee FTA's electronic grants management system. Manage and implement FTA's grants guidance dissemination and training. Manage FTA's formula apportionment calculations and other grant data reporting and analysis.
The ideal candidate possesses a full understanding of the grant lifecycle, a robust understanding of federal transportation related grant rules and regulations, and a deep understanding of compliance risk mitigation practices.
