Job Summary

This position is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Defense Threat Reduction Agency.

Key Responsibilities

As a PROGRAM ANALYST (ACQUISITION) at the GS-0343-14 some of your typical work assignments may include: Leads program execution for the Research and Development Directorate's Basic Research program and other programs, as assigned. Develops short and long-range program goals and metrics. Contributes to division-level spend plan and Agency Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development.

Drafts and submits acquisition strategies, purchase requests, statements of work, and cost estimates. Manages and directs the financial and technical execution of capability development portfolio requirements. Formulates short- and long-range resource allocation strategies, aligning portfolio acquisition objectives with the Department of War PPBE cycle. Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates current programs to determine the adequacy of projects' performance, cost, and schedule.
