You will serve as a Program Analyst with Bureau of Reclamation. The primary purpose of the position is to serve as the Reclamation-wide program coordinator for the Recreation and Land Use Program. As the program coordinator, you will identify program improvements; develops and implements policy and procedures; and develops performance measures for program accomplishments. This is not a remote position.
Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Lead and mentor a diverse team of program analysts and field staff, fostering professional growth and ensuring alignment with Reclamation's mission, strategic plans, and statutory requirements.
Execute and coordinate complex recreation and land use actions across multiple states, including negotiation and advisory roles for managing partner agreements, concession opportunities, commercial use authorizations (CUAs), use authorizations, and accessible recreation facilities.
Lead cost-share projects on federal land and manage a robust facility and recreation review program, ensuring alignment with industry standards for asset management and Reclamation's strategic objectives. Develop, implement, and coordinate bureau-wide recreation, realty and land use policies, procedures, and guidelines. Lead teams to enhance program efficiency, ensure statutory compliance, and provide expert advice on legislative and regulatory matters.
Respond to congressional inquiries and coordinate with Public Affairs for program outreach. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level.
This position does not allow substituting education for experience.

The posted pay range is $89508 – $154280/yr.
