This position is located in the Human Capital Operations Systems and Analytics Branch. The incumbent serves as a Program Analyst for the Systems, Services and Reporting team responsible for responding to requests for data, analyzing historical data to determine trends (e.g., hiring, staffing, separations, retention) for the purpose of forecasting future changes that could affect TSA's mission.
This Program Analyst position is located Human Capital Operations Systems and Analytics Branch, Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to: Analyzes and evaluates program areas to determine areas in which progress is unsatisfactory and to determine courses of action to remedy deficiencies.
Applies a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methods for the assessment of the programs, and identifies areas needing special emphasis or improvement. Analyzes policies or practices to identify any inconsistencies and recommends practical solutions. Formulate projects and recommend assessment criteria for the evaluation of TSA operational programs and contributes to the performance of meeting mission requirements.
Communicates with internal and external managers as well as representatives of other government agencies and private industries to obtain information and provide guidance on critical program issues, and make recommendations affecting the major programs. Note: The duties stated are at the full performance level, SV-I band.

TSA will not make a monetary payment for any leave forfeited under these circumstances.
