Organizational Location: This Division Director position is with the Department of Homeland Security, within U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Operations Support, Mission Support Directorate, International Support Division located in Washington DC. Additional selections may be made to include other organizational divisions and/or units within the duty location(s) listed above.
This position starts at a salary of $169,279.00 (GS-15, Step 1) to $197,200.00 (GS-15, Step 10). Typical duties include: Overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of division programs, functions, and activities in collaboration with CBP and OS leadership and employees.
Directing the execution of a variety of critical programs, services and functions related to international and mission support and the deployment of CBP personnel to foreign duty locations. Evaluating overall work accomplishments of the combined staff; reviewing projects, reports, and group/individual performance for consistency with policies, compliance with procedures and regulations, utility, technical adequacy, timeliness, and effective utilization of resources.
Serving as second-line supervisor and directing branch chiefs concerning complex administrative and comparable work, reviewing completed staff work of direct reports for accuracy, relevancy, and impact, prior to utilizing the information to inform senior leadership.
