You will serve as the Protocol Officer on US NAVAL BASE GUAM.
You will plan and coordinate events requiring protocol support for Naval Base Guam (NBG).
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: I have successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree. OR I have successfully completed three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree. OR I have successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled.

Additional Information: The majority of the preparations for the visits and functions are conducted in an office environment, while execution is usually conducted out of the office, to include offsite and field settings. The physical aspects of the position are centered around the actual visit / function. This includes a myriad of events, from escort, to on the spot adjustment of scheduled events, to attending any special concerns of the guest / dignitaries.
While not physically challenging, the work demands mental acumen, flexibility and responsiveness. Work hours can and often includes overtime, holidays, and weekends. This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
