Key Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Public Health Advisor, you will: Conduct complex evaluation studies and lead the development of nationwide program operations and initiatives for assigned operating public health programs. Research and evaluate key public health policies that are central to the bureau's or agency's mission.

Integrate knowledge and experience of public health programs and policies to provide guidance on policy issues to other components of the agency and other governmental agencies.

Requirements & Education

Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
