Key Responsibilities

As a Paralegal Specialist, you will: Analyze public health legislation, regulations, executive directives, and emerging issues; develop recommendations and policy positions for senior leadership. Lead strategic planning, program development, performance measurement, and evaluation activities to address public health priorities and emerging issues.

Build and maintain partnerships with CDC/HHS offices, federal and state agencies, legislative stakeholders, and national and international organizations to advance organizational priorities. Coordinate budget formulation, resource planning, and budget-performance integration activities to align programs with CDC, HHS, and organizational priorities.

Coordinate responses to Congressional and Executive Branch inquiries, briefings, hearings, testimony, and executive communications regarding public health programs, policies, and emerging issues.
