The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as an Air Reserve Technician (ART) Enlisted position to function as AFRC's primary focal point for 1C0X2 enlisted career field. The incumbent serves as the AFRC Aviation Resource Management MAJCOM Functional Manager (MFM) and Functional Area Manager (FAM).
The position directly manages the Aviation Resource Management Career Field Organize, Train and Equip (OT&E) functions, enlisted force development and manpower requirements for over 600 Citizen Airmen and equivalent Government Civilian positions located across 3 Numbered Air Forces (NAFs), 57 installations, and 109 units. Additionally, provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of the tasks set forth herein.
Duties: 1: Functionally manages the 1C0X2 Career Field within the Reserve Command and serves as the MAJCOM liaison for the Headquarters Air Force Career Field Manager (AFCFM). 2: Serves as the 1C0X2 Functional Area Manager and advisor to/for AFRC units regarding the Command's Aviation Resource Management portfolio. 3: Represents AFRC at conferences, seminars, and meetings for the purpose of providing a Reserve management perspective.
4: Initiates, directs, and/or conducts staff studies and Continual Evaluation on units Aviation Resource Management programs to determine strengths, LIMFACs and/or areas of improvement.
