Job Summary
Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT additional information. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a Small Engine Mechanic Supervisor for oversight of inmate personnel.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain and repair garden and small construction equipment. Monitor the maintenance performed by personnel in the motor pool. Provide technical and limited administrative supervision of personnel engaged in the maintenance and repair of 2 and 4-cycle gasoline powered lawn care equipment and other miscellaneous equipment with capabilities.
Operate a variety of gasoline, diesel, or electric powered wheeled vehicles with a gross vehicle weight of more than 10,000 and up to 26,000 pounds. Determine all requirements in equipment and manpower for performance of assigned tasks.
