Job Summary
PLEASE NOTE: Based on the current hiring restrictions, selectees may be subject to additional approvals prior to an offer being extended. This position is located at Bureau of the Fiscal Service, Operations Support Division. As a Software Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and operational readiness of enterprise software systems.
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Testing Specialist, you will: -Report on the status and progress of assigned software testing assignments. -Research, learn, and apply a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to identify, assess, analyze, and improve test team effectiveness, efficiency and work products.
-Develop test materials (e.g., scenarios, scripts, data, and expected results) to validate acceptance of approved modifications and change requests (CRs) for each software release type including critical minor, major, and new customer releases. -Update and validate Treasury, Bureau, and other agencies' representative data in a test environment for release Mock-Go-Live to ensure the environment and processes are ready for usability testing, software testing, and production.
