Job Summary
This position is located within the Office of the Under Secretary of War for Research and Engineering (USW(R&E)) and directly supports the Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager for Unmanned Systems (DRPM-UxS).
Key Responsibilities
Incumbent typical work assignments may include the following: Serves as the Staff Director and first-line supervisor for personnel assigned to the DRPM-UxS. Provides the day-to-day direction, professional development, and operational output of the subordinate workforce, translating executive intent into coordinated action through personnel management, performance oversight, and team synchronization.
Coordinates and directs human capital actions, security clearance processes, career development, and staffing assignments while preserving the technical authorities of designated functional leads.
