Job Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent is assigned to a diesel/electric powered, self-propelled Class I pipeline dredge. Incumbent will be assigned to the Engine Room and stands a regular watch with the shift engineer and electrician.

NOTE: This position is a Permanent, Full-Time Seasonal Appointment.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct gauge and/or thermometer readings of machinery and prepares shift logs reflecting oil pressures and oil and water temperatures.
