Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Plans, organizes, directs, and executes operations and maintenance and budgeting activities for Canyon Ferry Dam facilities; including a concrete gravity dam and a 50-MW hydroelectric powerplant. Plans, organizes, directs, and executes operations and maintenance and budgeting activities for Canyon Ferry Reservoir recreation and land management.
Provides technical and supervisory direction for up to 27 operation and maintenance staff, including 2 supervisors. Represents Reclamation and interacts with the partners, stakeholders, and the public and provides clear guidance on Reclamation's regulations and processes and enforces public conduct on Reclamation facilities, lands, and waterbodies.
Provides guidance and ensures Canyon Ferry powerplant staff follow required standards, techniques, and schedules for power generation operations and maintenance programs and activities.
