The primary purpose of this position is: To serve in a key staff professional position as a first level supervisor, providing planning, directing, organizing, and exercising control over nonsupervisory employees assigned to the NAF Headquarters, Technical Training Operations Center, Operations Division, Current Operations Branch.
Plans, organizes and directs the activities of the Operations Division, Current Operations Branch, ensuring that work complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities over Current Operations Branch and Base Teams Section personnel.
Represents, advocates, and serves as the Headquarters Second Air Force, Technical Training Operations Center, Operations Division, Current Operations Branch Subject Matter Expert (SME) on training program assessments and training production metrics with a variety of headquarters, wing, group installations and training and education functional area organizations and staffs.
Enhances the efficiency and synergy of the Current Operations Branch and Base Teams Section and provides management advisory services to top level managers.
