Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise first-level supervisory and managerial authorities over the Operations Section of 2AF/Det 1 and, upon activation, the Battlefield Airmen Training Wing; which includes unit Training, Readiness, and Plans functions.
Responsible for providing advice and support to leadership across the entire spectrum of wing activities.
Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of 2AF Det 1/XP, ensuring that Wing Plans complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives of management. Represents Training Wing with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
Establishes, defines, and implements requirements for operations programs to ensure functions are in line with organizational goals and mission requirements.
