Job Summary
This position is located in the Department of Health and Human Services, Health Resources and Services Administration, headquartered in Rockville, Maryland.
Key Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Supervisory Public Health Analyst, you will: Manage the Region by developing strategic and tactical plans for the states and territories included in their region to achieve HRSA and IEA goals. Develop and maintain relationships with state, territory, local, and tribal government leaders and create new partnerships with key stakeholders to address HRSA's key priorities.
Sustain close working relationships with HRSA senior leadership to assure that the Regional Offices' staff partnerships, collaborations and technical assistance activities are coordinated within the Agency. Present regional surveillance and analysis of health care trends and make recommendations to HRSA leadership, government officials and stakeholders to improve policies and programs.
Serve as a member of the IEA management team and exercise management authority for general administration of HRSA's regional offices.
Requirements & Education
Foreign Education: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show that the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
