Job Summary

The primary purpose of this position is to exercise second level supervisory and managerial authorities over the AFELM/JPPSO. To direct, manage, supervise and control functional, financial and technical transportation support requirements for a large unit composed of (75-110) regionalized personnel from multiple DoD Service Components.
Key Responsibilities
Transportation Officer (TO) for Joint Personal Property Shipping Office, planning, organizing, and directing activities to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while meeting customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Ensures development and implementation of policies, procedures, and regulations governing the movement of personnel and preparation, movement, and storage of personal property.
Represents the JPPSO with a variety of installation and functional area organizations. Assesses/evaluates program goals/objectives, preparing policy recommendations/reports for USTRANSCOM, Military Service Headquarters, and AOR Commanders.
