Job Summary
The primary purpose of this position is: To manage, supervise, and direct all traffic management functions performed by the Traffic Management Flight, which is located organizationally within the Logistics Readiness Squadron or Aerial Port Squadron. Key Responsibilities
Plans, organizes, supervises, and oversees the activities and employees of the Traffic Management Flight. Plans and directs all cargo movement traffic management functions and passenger travel and personal property shipment and storage activities for the installation and DoD assigned area of operation. Directs the small air terminal cargo and passenger operations.
Responsibilities in readiness, mobility, and deployment operations include providing technical direction, and management and evaluation of the transportation, traffic management, and unit movement aspects of the DoD transportation movement program on a worldwide basis. Represents the Traffic Management Flight with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
